You used to able to farm points on skyblock but you can't now so the best way that you can get points is to play your preferred game. Hope this helped. :)

I made a thread ages ago on the best point-farming methods. Since then, a lot of the methods have been fixed or changed in some way, and some new methods have been added into the server as well. Maybe I'll make another one c:
I think cactus farming and playing either TNT run or Tower Defending are the best ways of earning points, but I might test some other things out later c:

To get points, I think a 4x6 spurce tree farm sapling will give me 9 stacks of wood blocks for about 10 minutes and 6 stone axes, pretty good.

Spleef, Paintball, TNT Run and maybe SCB give a lot of points if you're good at it. Also SW does when there's a point multiplier activated.
