It's not the cubelets that is causing lag. It's either your connection to the server, or your client.

Cubelets are awesome! :D

Go to video settings and turn particles to minimal. Firework particles will not show with this setting, which will reduce the lag.

Cubelets are a sprinkle bae, also would recommend getting optimise. Increases your fps be at least 10.
