Strange lag appearance on Mac

Hey guys!

I have a Mac Book Pro and I recently rebooted it from the new OS X El Captain to the old Yosemite. This, because El Captain is still in beta-version and works not smoothly. So I booted my Mac with Yosemite and started clean again. Before I upgraded to El Captain my Minecraft worked exceptionally well with no lag on any server. Well, you can guess what happend. Since the reboot I have constant lag and can't even play a normal game on Cube Craft Games without having any issues. I just played a game Egg Wars and everything worked fine until I couldn't buy any stuff from the villager. I could still read the chat, see people moving and talking, but when I tried to break something it broke and didn't come back. If I wanted to say something it wouldn't let me say it. Conclusion, I could see everybody playing the and everybody saw me doing nothing and after a while disconnecting from the server with the error "disconnected". Someone PLEASE help me. Can anyone explain this? My wifi is perfect and I have a router 30 cm away from my laptop. I want to play Minecraft like before again. Sometimes I get really mad, especially at crucial moments when I pvp, because of the lag. I really need help guys...

Assuming you still have this issue: Is this server-side lag or client lag (FPS) ?

I use Mac... And have no idea what the heck El captain is. Yosemite is the newest...

El Capitan is the latest, which will be released this fall. Although you can get beta previews from Apple. https://www.apple.com/osx/elcapitan-preview/

El Captain is the new OS X version of Mac.

I'm very sorry for not answering to you all.. I actually solved this problem by using a UTP cable directly from my router. Problem solved and can be closed now. Thanx for the support though.

I use Mac because its much easier to use. I never have problems with it (except for this little wifi connection problem which is solved now). I also need to use a laptop for school and since my Windows laptop kept crashing and crashing I decided to buy a Mac.
