In the 1950s, the first underground missile silo was built to house the Blue Streak Missile project (at RAF Spadeadam). According to official records, the UK cancelled the mission as the Soviets had more advanced weaponry- of which the Blue Streaks were no opponent to. Conspiracy suggests that in fact, the UK never cancelled the Blue Streak project- and in fact, it is the UK's missile defence. Of course this is only conspiracy, but it did inspire the Nuclear Bunker map- the remnants of a Cold War nuclear project.
In the Nuclear Bunker map, there is:
- a large outer shell able to house hiders that like to run around
- a cafeteria full of oak 'chairs'
- a crafting table room
- a furnace room
- a dormitory
- a bathroom
- a control room
- a launchpad room
- a circulatory passage that observes the entire building
- 14 storage bays- which in turn houses every single block that one is able to hide in!
- a fuel station underneath the missile
- AN EXPLORABLE MISSILE ROCKET WITH MULTIPLE FLOORS!
- loads of hiding places!
