I think sumo would be a cool addition.
Basically a platform where you have to PvP and first to hit the other off it wins simple.

they really need to add this, i was hoping for this back a few months ago with the battle arena update but it wasnt added

It would be cool for the bedrock network, but it would be impossible to get it added on java because of how 1.9 pvp works.
