Hey, I'm suggesting that there be a fifth section of the rules called 'Player Report Rules' for both Bedrock and Java. The rules for reporting are quite unclear as they're not really written anywhere obvious which causes people to break them. And when you break these unwritten Rules you receive an official Cubecraft warning, which I believe is very wrong.

The rules I see are that you can't use other peoples evidence, you can't delete evidence, you can't create multiple reports on the same person for the same thing and you can't use evidence more than 14 days old. So rule 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, 5.4 + more?

Agree :agree: below if you think it's more clear for people

To take it even further, I disagree with it being punished for at all.

Imagine seeing a rule breaker. You’re like “woooooooooo time to do good lets report him and be a good guy” but you forget. 15 days later, which is past the evidence can only be 14 day old rule thing, you remember and report. And what do you get? A warning! (I cant completely remember the punishment guidelines we/I had in the team so idk if this is an instant official warning, but hey it’s about the idea). That is very demotivating and looks bad. A friendly headsup should work, not a punishment. Never.

(Obviously, people faking stuff should be severely punished for but the average new player who just wanna do good shouldn’t be punished.)

Great idea! Like how whould i be able to know that chat should be open while reporting a swearing

Right now you can know that the chat must be open and many other rules though this thread:

In my opinion I think that this function is very hidden and is very long, it would be very useful to add the main things to report in a section in the rules 😄

Personally I think that cubecraft should accept the use of other peoples evidence as long as the person reporting makes sure that the video stays up and doesn't get deleting, I noticed that staff don't really check if the clip is your or not as well. Making this an official rule might help it tbh.

All reporting rules are listed under the Reporting Tutorials and Guidelines subforum, more specifically in this post. They're not unwritten, however, I do agree with xAmazinq that they are a bit hidden.
Players indeed would expect to find all rules on the actual rules page rather than part of them in a different thread.
IMO, the report rules aren't in the wrong place on this thread as they make up a part of the reporting guidelines (about gathering evidence etc.), which don't really belong in the rules.
In my opinion, a good solution might be to link to this entire thread somewhere on the official rules page, to make sure players that are looking for the report rules grasp the other useful guidelines as well.

5 - Report rules

The rules about reporting players can be found in our player report rules and guidelines thread.

Hello!
We have added the requirements of our reporting platforms as well as the actions we will take in case of non-compliance. These can be found in the rule 1.10.
Thank you for your suggestion!
