I've been playing the new ranked gamemodes for a while now and I really enjoy it, although there are some things I dislike and I think many players feel the same. One of them would be that the maps still have Structures or Blocks in the fighting area. In the video I added to this post you can see why this is a problem. The Player just keeps on camping where I can't start a combo and prevents me from fighting him normally.
The solution for this would be removing/change all of the maps so that they all are flat. It would be a make a huge difference and the 1v1s would be more fair than they are now. Right now people can just use the map for their own advantage, and in a ranked gamemode, it really sucks when you lose elo because of this.
