So lately I have been using the egg Armour kit that gives:
A full set of leather armor
And most importantly 20% discount on all armor.

So I like what they did there by adding a special perk to the kit that makes it more useful or else it would be unusable almost, I would basically like cubecraft to do the same thing with other kits like for example:

Egg shell:
content: 8 x End stone
Effects: 10% discount on all blocks

Rabbit:
Content: 3 x golden carrots
Leaping potion II
Effects: every type of food gives 0.5 extra saturation points

Money bags:
Content: 20 iron ( it needs a buff )
Effects generators work 15% faster when you are near them

Buffer:
Content: splash potion of healing
Effects: all healing Effects are double effectiveness on you

Debuffer:
Content: splash potion of weakness
Splash potion of slowness
Effects: all enemies deal 5% less damage on all allies ( stacks up to 2x only )

Healer:
Content: 2 x golden apples
Effects: all golden apples cost 33% of their original price

Shell cracker:
Content: gold pickaxe (enchanted)
TNT
Effects: every pickaxe you buy has 1+ level of efficiency

Egg armour & feather feet already have Effects

By doing this you will not only make a lot of kits viable, it will also make team strategy more important as it will make every team member use a different kit to maximise the benefits they are getting from them.

This doesn't necessarily mean you must do what is mentioned above its just an example of how it can go.

Eh I don't really think the 10% discount on all blocks would fit with this kit, since the kit's meant for an egg defense. Maybe there could be a 10% discount only for end stone and obsidian.

With 20 iron it would be easier to rush which isn't good for some people. I'd keep it at 15, but I like the effect generator buff.

This one should only give the kit user 5% less damage, and it shouldn't stack. It would be quite OP if there was a big party and 2 of the party members used that kit.

The idea itself is cool, but I feel like the armor discount is what makes the kit unique. Personally, I would find it a bit too overpowered/unbalanced if every kit had specific abilities like this. Especially in any OP mode, egg armor doesn't have many benefits compared to other kits, but the discount makes it more balanced, which is why I reacted with an X. Pretty cool suggestion though!

This would be a huge change for eggwars. I personally don't think we need the perks with the kits. The only reason the egg armor kit has a perk is because normal armor only costs 4 iron in normal and overpowered. The other kits are just worth more than the 4 iron. I like some of the ideas but it would make certain kits overpowered. Kits as they are now are balanced and in my opinion good.

The idea itself is fine. But I didn't like any of the changes you say in this thread, maybe it could be other changes. For example the "Money Bags" Kit I think is fine as it is right now.

I put that in there cause these are just examples, they could be changed to balance them.

Getting 15 iron, it's a trip to the generator and back.

Well actually, the kit is pretty powerful yet underrated having to pay 26 diamonds instead of 32 for a diamond armor piece is kind of a very large discount and the more the game lasts the more benefit this kit gives, because unlike the other ones this one is good for "Scaling" Which means its more effective in the long term rather than the short one.

Alright people I think you miss understood the point, I just gave an idea the perks that are mentioned above are changeable, my main reasoning for this idea is for it to become more of a team game like for example, 1 member collects resources, 1 member attacks, 1 defends and protect the egg, 1 buys gear for the rest of the team, instead of everyone doing the same thing this will make the game more fun for people that are not good at fighting, or the ones not good at defending.

Sorry but this is a big red X from me. Part of the beauty of eggwars is how simple it is, and for the post part it is pretty much vanilla. I feel like this would just make it to complicated and messy, and everyone would spend 10 hours second guessing which kit they should use, which would just be annoying.

I am against this idea. This will change the game so much. Playstyles will change according to the kits. I don't think it is a good idea to implement it to eggwars. Most of the eggwars players are okay with the current eggwars.

I feel like this would just make it to complicated and messy, and everyone would spend 10 hours second guessing which kit they should use, which would just be annoying.

Egg wars is not simple there are so many items put into the game, its hard to be new and understand how the game works, tho this will make the game much more strategizing then buying a sword, steak, blocks, and sweating on every person u see in front of you alone even in a team game which takes away the point

Well ogs are tho new players aren't, they just get left behind in the dust while their team mates basically does everything which causes them to quit because of feeling useless, this will make it much harder for someone to do it alone and will give give their team mates a chance to participate into the game.

Adding a whole bunch abilities and whatever will just make it even more complicated.
