Have you had a fake friend on CubeCraft?

This is a bit of a different thread than I usually make, and I'm writing it because I want to reach out and see if anyone has had a similar experience.

Basically, I have a friend on CubeCraft and we have been friends for 2-3 years now. But recently she has been acting weird to me, and I don't really know why. She has been choosing the other team in BlockWars and then targeting me over and over. She ignores me when I try to chat with her and sometimes says rude things about me as well. This would be manageable for most people but this is a close friend and I have no idea what I did to upset her.

I think the most upsetting part is that all of my other friends have also turned my back on me. They won't invite me or play with me if she is in the party too, preferring to make her happy and leave me all alone. I don't even know what I did wrong to them. I have lost interest in my favourite game because of the constant exclusion and targeting.

I want to know if this is a common thing that I shouldn't even be getting upset about. What do you all think I should do about it?

Answering your question : yes, I had fake friends in cube. I don't want to tell you how many because that would be so upsetting. But, that's life experiences. You learn and grow with situations like the one you explained. Also, I have to say you are brave to post and explain this. Well, not brave, real. In life, there's always fake friends, and things that aren't fake friends...

Hey! I think that you will find real & fake friends everywhere. You have just to keep your secrets to yourself & don't tell anyone about it. Also, don't completely trust anyone. (especially in a blocks game!)

This hasnt ever happened to me on cubecraft but one of my best friends was really awful to me. It would hurt just to wake up and think about it. I cut her out half a year ago but sometimes it still hurts.

Sometimes were blinded by affection and can’t see the other person for who they are.

Confront this person about whats going on, if that doesnt work no worries because many people here including myself would love to have more friends

I hope you're doing alright. Thank you for sharing your experience with others here on the forums, this is very brave of you. I feel like in life you're always going to come across those people who are 'fake' friends and that's okay, people like that don't deserve you. You really start to realize which people are your real friends just by the way they treat you, the people that will stick with you no matter what.

I definitely know what it feels like having a fake friend. Cutting them out of your life is really the best thing you'll ever do. I remember that most of my other 'friends' started hanging out with that person more and they were all so popular at school. I do see them pretty often still because we go to the same school but you really just have to realize that you are so much more than that and you're way better off without those kinds of people in your life.

It's kind of strange how they never told you why they were avoiding you though, that's why, like @UtopianistUnicorn mentioned before, it'd be a good idea to confront this person about the situation, if you haven't already. If that doesn't really end up working out, it's their loss because I'm sure there are tons of people just waiting to be your friend (me included). You really seem like a kind, reasonable person.

Hey Lyri, I had experienced this quiet recently with all of my friends i had in person and i feel for you soo much. i am sorry this has happened to you and i hope you get over them and pick yourself back up because you seem like a really nice person. I am god awful at giving advice however i think @Meiske pretty much summed up what i would have said and those above too. cutting them out is definitely the best thing to do and when you see them just ignore them as much as you can, yeah it will hurt but eventually it wont hurt as much. i still cry sometime when ever i see people i was friends with together without me however there are soo many other people out there in the world that you can find who will see you for you and not hurt you like your friends previously had. If you ever want someone to talk to i can be here even though you don't know me but it's nice to have people who you can talk to. also if you ever need anyone to play with hit me up if im online. the username is the same as my forms user ^-^ ❤
