Java New 10v10 maps

Dear CubeCrafters,

I hear a lot of people talking about the fact that they love the map Rome. I think it's not just about the map, but the concept of 10v10. Personally I don't really like 10v10 but I see why people would. Right now (I could be wrong) there is just one 10v10 map. Why not add more if everyone loves them?

Noooope,
10v10 maps ruïned the leaderboards. They're attractive to big parties of relatively good players, who steamroll the map in the first few minutes of the game. Therefore, more 10v10 player maps spawn which leads to less actual 'fun' maps being available. They've admitted to them having ruïned the leaderboards, (can't be bothered to search for it) and luckily won't add more 10v10 player maps. I personally hope they all get removed with the next update.

Because the only reason people love them is because they end quick and are easily farmable. Both of which are generally BAD things from a developers perspective. You want every player to have a fun time, in PvP games, this usually means that you want people to stay alive as long as possible (How do you think Fortnite for example grew so big? I'll give you a hint: It wasn't because they gave 'Good players' better chances at ending the game quicker). 10v10 maps are bad for the server and boring in general (either your team is trash and you do all the work, in which case 6 team-maps are way more fun, or you're relatively not as good as your teammates, in which you'll get carried to victory without doing anything at all, which is boring too).

We shouldn't have more of them.

I know a couple of leaderboards players, they all find 10v10 maps more boring than "regular" ones, the only reason they grind 10v10 as much is because they're the quickest and easiest to win. Which something that shouldn't exist in a video game in the first place.

I don't really like the 10v10 maps. I completely agree with all the things RPoule said. It just promotes farming wins and competition.

Why don't you make a map by yourself? Telling you want new maps is easy, but building one has a much bigger chance of getting more 10v10 maps. There are already quite a lot accepted! I dare you to give it a try!

They can justbadd more 10v10 maps without deleting the smaller maps. Problem solved.<3
