Are Shaders Bannable?

That mustn’t be true. Shaders aren’t bannable in any way. The only texture-related ilegal behavior is using x-ray texture packs.
Your friend that got banned must’ve been using something more than just shaders, there is no reason to ban someone for using shaders nor is there a way to prove someone is using shaders in the first place. They must be confused about the reason they got banned and I would recommend contacting a moderator to clear up any doubts.

Shaders are client side, same as optifine and texture packs. They’re allowed and, indeed, undetectable by anyone (or thing) that isn’t you.

Please fully read the rules before making a thread like this. its kinda pointless and you can find your answer usually alot faster. And as said before it is legit impossible to be banned for using shaders. its like someone saying they got banned for using a different texture pack (not xray of course lol) Shaders and optifine are now combined together as well now and optifine has never been banable

If your friend wants to be unbanned, tell him to appeal here: https://appeals.cubecraft.net On the appeal page, he can see the reason why he was banned.

Not true in any way, if your friend say he/she got banned for using shaders its all an lie and you should ask him his real ban and check his appeals, Shaders is allowed and if you havent read rules do it :D
