Yeah, you're asking to get 'unlockable capes'. But could you give an example on how to be able to create something like that, since capes are an addition to a player model, and can't be added ingame.

Because now, it isn't really agreeable for anyone.
If you want a cape, either buy one (OptiFine, LabyMod, etc.) or download a mod, as stated above.
If everyone who was on cubecraft had some kind of cape, it would remove the specialty of the MINECON capes, as people wouldn't care about where the capes came from.
It's not an issue about whether they affect game play or not, it's just simply not allowed to be used as a commercial product for servers:

I don't really think that this is possible with plugins if you want the same type of capes like optifine or labymod.
I think he means cloaks. Hypixel have a couple of them as 'capes'. They look fancy though. Would love to see a fire cloak.

I admit, having cloaks would be cool. In that case, I think it would be better if the cloaks would be 'merged' with trails. Either that, or there could be seperate sections in trails. Overall, it would require a lot of originality since copying Hypixel would be, eh.
Capes are explicitly forbidden from being used in the Eula so it's not something we are able to do.

I ment like legendary capes which are rly hard to find, would still be hard to get and the Minecon capes would still be rare, since the cubecraft capes are different

They are but not all ppl have Optifine, if they dont they arent able to see the cape

Yeah, it would be great if they add this but probs not, i love capes but not everyone knows how to use Optifine...
