I've received a lot of positive remarks on the forums and in game about my guide... posted here: https://www.cubecraft.net/threads/ymbmg95s-guide-to-tower-defence.148762/ and would basically like to know from not only my friends and teammates, but the entire community of Tower Defense, whether I should or shouldn't post a second guide, with new content. Think of it as a second volume to my previous guide. This will cover new concepts such as unison lifting, effective regeneration negation, and more. I'll note here that I will not post more unless I receive enough requests... roughly 30 requests are necessary to satisfy me. This may seem selfish of me, but I'm requesting feedback for two reasons.

    1. I love seeing feedback and response from the community.
    2. If there's not enough good players out there, I'd simply feel I'm not going to see real competition anyways.

For you see, the next guide will be specifically geared towards what I think would make the best of the best teams. I want to see great competition from other teams, not just face off with a good player, but have my team face off with other real pros.

....and to answer another question, yes, I did indeed withhold information from my last guide.

Thanks for reading, I'd love to see response.

I'm interested in a more in-depth guide, so now only 29 more requests to go.

I would like to see the guide as a means of benefit to other players but I think if you don't enjoy writing them then don't force yourself to do it and you should be making them out of enjoying doing it than feeling forced.

I do enjoy writing these guides. I love having the community learn, and I want a team that's good enough to rival my team. I'm talking about the core members of my group, whom I've shared every bit of knowledge with. However, in all of the matches that we've been in, no other team has done things as intuitively or as effectively as us. I've just not seen the same type of organization from others out there, and it's discouraging. I wonder if my guides are going to be read by a team of individuals that seek to be as good as us. Generally though, I do like writing my guides, it gives me time to recap on my own ideas, look for improvements, and better the community as a whole.

I would think majority of players don't have the privilege of being in pre-made teams such as myself. I just go into a game, without knowing the people and contributing my part to the game and try to make an impact using the knowledge I've gained. I try to balance the team out, giving attributes that lack from the random group of players put together.

Most players don't have that luxury, because they haven't started a team or found one. I'd like to see more teams form though, not just see good players cross their fingers and hope for decent players each match. I've seen a new team form already, one worth watching. I look forward to seeing them progress too. I may just include our method of winning in the next guide, just to see what others can make of it.

On a side note, I once played like you too. I would've left Tower Defense long ago if I hadn't made friends or joined/started a team though. Playing with a group that you like makes the game into something completely new.

I would like a way to win the game fast XD
As Tower Defense is easy, but needs a lot of time sometimes...

A long time player of the game, you probably have tricks that others aren't aware of. There are also things like, shift+rightclick shortcuts that many new players don't know about. I'm sure it'd be a neat guide.

You can also make the enemy waste a leech tower if you make them prematurely use their leech. This trick is more likely to work if their leech tower is placed in the front.

I had thought to bring that to everyone's attention, I might in the 3rd guide. I'm thinking they'll be more like chapters, volumes, or something along those lines.
