Just as the title says. Steam links should be whitelisted if someone for example wants to recommend a game to another person. It seems like it would be easy to fix.

Unfortunately, these links can also be abused for phishing scams or lead to malicious websites that pretend to be steam
Those can infect the device with malware, especially when downloading games, and more

It would be a hard time for many to tell apart genuine recommendations from a lure
Putting young and unsuspecting players at high risk and making moderation more difficult
