What happens to my emerald rank when I become a staff?
My rank is now emerald, which costs us some money. That's why I wondered what happens to your rank when you become Staff

You'll get the higher rank, which is in this case the staff rank.
When you scroll over your name, and you are staff but still have an emerald rank, you'll see both

But then you see ofc your name and your level
And your ranks say emerald and [staff rank]

You technically will still have your rank, but a staff rank has everything obsidian has so there are no added benefits of having a donator rank before. And whenever you leave the team, you will still have the emerald rank so you never lose it. :)
