Ways to kill a punch-bow player? (Question)

The title says it all. How do you handle a player with a bow with the punch enchantment? Methods that work in 1.8 or 1.9 are fine. Any ideas?

Apparently they say that buying a shield solves all your problems... W tap them away from you? You can hardly move when pulling back a bow shot, I agree with trump, play normal, makes bowspammers 10x easier to deal with.

Here's my idea:- Strafe the shots and don't use the same movement, look around you the map might have some cover so that you can avoid the shots. Maybe get a shield but that is bound to make no push as the speed you move at it barely the speed the bow spammer is moving at so you wouldn't get any hits on. My conclusion:- TNT BOW SPAM HARDCORE BACK.

Watch your surroundings when the player misses a shot. Look for the opportunity to strike, you can usually find which side they are weak on easily.

I normally dodge as many arrows as possible and shoot back after my enemy is done with shooting.

1. Use a shield (works best in OP since it's cheaper)
2. Block the path behind you so you can't get knocked off (punch bows don't do much damage, especially not in OP)
3. Use a bow yourself
4. Just get really close somehow
5. Don't play on maps with small islands.
6. TNT Spam (works best in OP since it's cheaper)

You just have to turn on KA and Anti-KB.

What I do is build a wall in front of you and near the edge and when you spring into action he cant hoot you off unless you built the wall to low and he can make you fly up.

Hate bow spammers. DO NOT go near the edge, buy a shield too. Back yourself up against a wall, and user a POWER bow, not punch. Dropping tnt works too.

you fell like you're gonna get hit off, then place blocks behind you acting as a shield from preventing you from going of the edge, once they start moving to shoot you off from a different angle, move to a safe-point of the island, then continue fighting.

Chug golden apples... besides bowspammers don't do too much damage, just try to run across as many bridges splitting them up, or better yet, don't play op :P

Doesnt work. Thats why i dont let games last long on OP mode. Once diamond gear is involved get ready to invest three hours into the game
