I'm a bedrock player, I specialise in Teams of 2 Eggwars however I often find myself playing Skywars. I am making this thread on all gamemodes available on Bedrock. To see my thread on Eggwars, Go to the eggwars section.
I have many hours on Skywars and something I have found on this mode is that this mode has the most hackers of all other modes. The common hacks tend to be Kill-Aura and Flying. These hacks are often hard to fight but not impossible with a coordinated team (on TO2 and TO4). I find it surprising that Sentinal is unable to ban hackers who are flying. Then it occurred to me that perhaps the server has no anti-cheat on Bedrock. After a while I soon discovered that there is no anti-cheat for bedrock edition. This was confirmed by Admin "Marieke2001" who said when I suggested getting a plug-in "Why throwing something away you’ve been working on for the past 3 years? Yes I know bedrock hasnt had an anti cheat for the past 3 years, but if we would throw it away on bedrock then we would also have to do the same with java." (Source: https://www.cubecraft.net/threads/the-state-of-cheating-on-eggwars.237325/) After asking a further question, as seen in the linked source, I received a like on my further questions but no response.
Hackers also seem to be more blatant about it as in one of my evidence videos, a hacker says in chat that they were hacking and then proceeded to use Kill Aura (
).
I think it says a lot when I have more unlisted videos on youtube containing hackers from this server alone than I do public videos.
Skywars has some very aggressive hackers who tend to be for more aggressive than the ones that are in modes like Eggwars. I encounter the most hackers in Skywars games with an average of 1 in every 3 games.
The situation is becoming very frustrating and often leads me to change servers as the hacker problem isn't as bad on other servers.
Now I have a question to the community. What do you think CubeCraft can do to reduce the amount of hackers AND do you think that CubeCraft is doing a good job of preventing hackers?
