Status of reports

What are the meaning of these status? Some say closed, some say handled. Does closed mean they banned the cheater? I'm really confused.

Generally:
Handled -> report accepted - the player was banned/muted/warned
Closed -> report denied - what you reported is allowed/player was already punished

As flxen said, you can see the reason of the status by clicking on the respective player username as each case is different

To add something to this:

Handled -> report accepted - the player was banned/muted/warned

Already Punished -> The player is already punished for the thing they did.
