Builds Small build

Hey everyone!
I was just wondering, do you have any tips for this small part of a build in process? I'm just making something for fun, but I don't know if it would look good to others or not. (Also I don't really like the glass colour, any ideas on what colour it should be/should it have no colour at all?)
This will just be the front of a big house/mansion/castle.. Whatever you want to call it.

EDIT: This is the first time I'm actually trying to build something big.

I really like the design so far. Maybe change the color to a blue or purple? As for the design, maybe add some definition on the roof and floor. Sorry, I am not the best at building, but those being flat seem to be the things that stand out to me most.

Thank you. The thing you are calling roof is supposed to be a cover, that just is there to cover the floor in the sense that it may rain (Obviously it doesn't matter in minecraft). Also, the floor is just supposed to be flat just to get to the house. The inside of the house will be more detailed and different, rather than flat.

Also, I will try those colours.

Not sure how far along you are on the build, but as of now it's very simple. Add a bit more color (blocks) so you could maybe make a floor pattern or something in the pillars. Add more details, the pillars can use some depth, as well as the walls. Stairs and slabs will usually be your goto block for that.
