So, as you know, the 1.8 PvP update has patched that 'bug' that caused you to regen really slowly. However, in my opinion it was actually better without the fast regen. But you may ask, why? So, I started playing money walls again today to get my stats up. When the walls fell, I charged the kings and got them all killed without any issues. However, when I charged in to kill the last team and saw they had full diamond. Now pre-update, this wouldn't have been a problem because if I landed a few crits I could do a lot of damage and then chase them down without them regaining much health. Then, I could take their gear and kill everyone else easily. But with the regen, this is close to impossible because they will A) Just keep eating while they have more armor durability or B) Run to their teammates , in which you probs can't kill them in time because of the regen. So, my suggestion is to slow natural regeneration back to 1.8 speed in both PvP modes.

No. I am glad that Mojang has done this. If you have limited lives you have to wait minutes before everything is back.

There is a counter side for 1.9 health regeneration
Your hunger bar literally decrease after 3 seconds if you are regenerating.
And 1.9 pvp doesn't really end within 5-8 minutes (Unless both player sucks at 1.9 pvp)
It is either you keep eating, to keep regeneration, but then interupted while being attacked and your hunger is down again, you won't be able to attack. So...
It is actually fine
