For 500 arrows you need 125 gravel and thats 500K coins.
Best way to grind the money are that you will farm snow, Farming Cactus and cocoa Beans, Jungle wood.
Yes it takes lots of time but you need to make it to unlock iron so try it
Update: i forgot to farm zombies that is good money grind too

Nice tips! I hated that quest so much! And it's funny because later in the game you basically get an unlimited supply of arrows thanks to skeletons

I'm also on the desert island and I have a 6-floor cocoa bean farm to get me 500 arrows. I have 75,000 coins after my last harvest.
