Shield Stuck

I have a shield in my second hand. Every time I go to remove it, it stays in place. Even after dying it stays there. Anyone know how to fix this?

If you play on pc then go put your mouse on the shield and press q.
If the shield can be used then you can use it to block mobs and reduce its durability till it breaks.

This is a known bug and there is no current fix to this as of my knowledge

I am also experiencing this issue - having to play with a shield stuck in my face all of the time - not good.
Also worth pointing out that in the last week or so loads of glitches are creeping in - blocks not disappearing when destroyed, unable to pick stuff up, spiders floating in mid air that don't really exist - do Cube craft do any kind of testing, cos if they do it doesn't work!
