So pretty much i was playing sw. i was dying and i tried to *cough* Escape *cough* i used an enderpearl and it landed on a wall then i fell when i looked up at the chat i saw this ... :P

This is just how the kill system works
since in using the ender pearl the server thinks that the damage you took was caused due to your own self
like if you shot yourself with a bow then jumped into the void
the most recent form of damage which the server thinks was done by you is what will be listed as your death message
if you use the wizard kit on the map classic in FFA PvP and spawn on the roof, assuming you splash yourself with damage potion which the knockback causes you to die you will get this same message

it is due to the server having different death messages

That’s pretty funny, that has happened to me a few times. It is just part of how the game works because well... you died from yourself because you threw the enderpearl so it kind of makes sense.
