As to why they should mitigate to giving YOU your rank back when undoubtedly other people will have had the same problems

What payment method(paypal, creditcard, bank account) did you use and how long ago did you buy it? (Your mc account)

My parents used PayPal and they bought it back in 2013 I think

Do your parents keep track of their finances to the point where they print out receipts and such? If so, try finding the receipt of your MC account. There should be a transaction ID on there. Thats what you require to send Mojang to get your account back.

You could also try mailing paypal for the info about the payment. They probably can't help you as they usually only store payment details from the past 2 years, could give it a shot though.
