Thing is, if someone reports you for an illegal client and you show them your files, a simple "I did not use it" wouldn't get you out of the fire.
You have it and someone reported you for it. That's all the matters. We won't know for sure if you've used it or not.
So if I were you, I wouldn't risk it.
