Plugin to disable second hand in the future

As you know, in MC 1.9 a second hand will be added, but that will definitively ruin games like Hunger Games, Skywars, Eggwars, etc. So I wanted to know if maybe there could be a plugin to disable the second hand in the future, when 1.9 comes out.

Once the update comes out, we'll probably sit down and decide how we want to deal with the new mechanic changes

Rather than disabling future features, we'll probably use them to make survival games and the like more interesting and dynamic. I'm certain the new pvp combat updates in 1.9 will only enhance gameplay value rather than diminish it.
