I think it would add an interesting mechanic for people who are willing to grind to give stuff who are not, or to splurge to by seeds or something to jumpstart a farm...

like that idea, but what if they give like iron or diamonds.

there could be a minimum price for diamonds or iron, I actually don't have dia yet but lets say the min is like 2000 per and so you're willing to pay that much but they cant go lower

I have a similar suggestion, just make a NPC-driven trading hall, players have to stock npcs, and you have to have a new NPC per area. You can only stock an npc with it's corresponding island's native materials
