Pacman

I'm sure everyone reading this knows about the game pacman. It was made in the early 80s and is now a very famous arcade game. While I'm on the topic of arcade games and pacman, I'm sure that you are thinking what this suggestion is about: just put arcade games and pacman together - now you have pacman in the cubecraft arcade lobby!

This would be a game with 5 players, one of them are randomly selected as pacman. Pacman runs around the maze collecting pacdots (Gold nuggets or cookies might work), and has one heart. Ghosts run around with a diamond sword trying to kill pacman. Pacman has one or two lives, and if he collects all the pacdots without losing all of his lives, he wins. If not, the ghosts win. When pacman collects a power pellet, he can use it to make the ghosts have one heart and pacman have the diamond sword to kill ghosts.

Side tasks:
Defeat 3 ghosts using power pellets
Kill pacman at least once

MVPs:
Defeat pacman the most, if it's a tie it's random
Defeat 3x as many ghosts as you are defeated

seems like it would get boring quickly, it would be better suited in a minerware minigame where a few players are the ghosts and the rest are pacmans.
there also might be copyright issues with using pacman but im not sure on that

There probably would be copyright issues, but if the name was changed to something like "Ghost chase" or something like that, I think it would be fine.

I don't see a point. Knock-offs of other games rarely succeed and Pacman is free to play on the Internet so

True, but this game wouldn't have ranged attacks. Instead of thrown slimes and slime grenades (Slime nades as I like to call them), there would be swords. Different already, but too, I guess this could be a new map in slime survival. But with pacman, Ghosts/Slimes wouldn't have to have accurate throws.

Imagine you are a ghost and are across the map from pacman but you can see him in front of you
Ranged attack = Hit from the other side of the map
Melee attack = Run over to pacman to defeat him
Conclusion = Ranged attacks don't fit in pacman but they are different in this way ^^
