The new update came only a few days ago and it has changed skywars a fair bit. Maps have been changed, kits have been changed, loot has been changed, options have been changed too. Basically a lot of changes. The chest refills are pretty good for those who like to hop island to island, (or just build a mini base, one of those 'why not' situations) for they can stock up on loot on the go, even if the chests were empties earlier, though it reduces the amount of players being driven to head for the middle island. The selection of kits have been changed too, some have been improved, some have been less so, with the 2 new kits being enderman and farmer, the ender pearls that the enderman provide has made the biggest difference in skywars, before ender pearls only came with op items, but now ender pearls show up regardless of the chest items. The new projectile options have a major impact on what pvp is to be used in the game ranging from melee, to the usual, to spleef! The game selection no longer has a choice between no kits and kits, it's sad, but who knows? It may come back! The kill assists in team skywars are actually great for serious pvpers for it prevents kill steals and also shows how much they commit to each kill. Overall the skywars update is a massive one, many pros and cons, a few bugs, but that'll be fixed eventually (when I mean fix, I mean only for the bugs)
