I think that your idea could be good but also bad. I don't see why people wanna lock their own threads, i didn't even saw so many people asking for a lock. I think that cubecraft is also using xenforo and xenforo doesn't allow people to only lock their own threads. If you add it you will also give people the chance to just lock other people their threads. You can also get a lot of awesome replies and after you got a lot of replies they will just change there text and they will lock it so that people can't say anything on the new topic. I think that the developers already have a lot of work to do and this is just something useless to add. If you wanna get sommething locked you can just tag a staff member in there it is not the biggest deal that they have to do.
