Bedrock New Skywars kit: Defender

Basically,this kit would give the player:
1 Stone sword
Leather Helmet (1 armor points,0,5 bar)
Leather chestplate (3 armor points,1,5 bars)
Chain Leggings (3 armor points,1,5 bar)
Chain boots (1 armor point,0,5 bars)
A total of 8 armor points (4 bars), It sucks,right?
But this kit is made for protecting from kamikazes,we all hate them right?
And i think it would be useful in basic skywars as a starter armor

actually, it sounds pretty overpowered, like dualninja has just said. why? considering the only kit with armor you can get atm in skywars has just a chestplate and boots but no sword(correct me if wrong, i dont play skywars a lot)this would be a lot. but at the same time, picking up an armored kit would mean that you will naturally find better armor in the chests on your island, and you’ll replace your kit armor, so that’s why i have picked unsure for your suggestion because it’s a rather op starter but will become irrelevant as the game progresses

I said that this kit has a use:
Protect from kamikazes that godbridge on ur is immediatly when the game start without taking chests
And it would be useful in basic as a starter armor

True, but considering how op it’d look to players selecting kits, everyone(nearly everyone)would pick it and thus the use would be negated quite fast. But think about it; if someone kamikaze godbridges over to you and you both have the same kit(defender)it would prove quite unreliable. Still, your suggestion with a few tweaks will be a great addition into the game :D

Well,even though most of the times the kamikaze pick builder kit to godbridge to ur is literally 1 sec after the game starts

You only get 10 blocks with the builder kit; its not really enough to bridge over to another island, but you can always pick up blocks from chests and then bridge over, even then they would have bridged somewhere else(say, the next island)

10 in basic,20 in normal and 30 in op

you can variate this, by maybe doing a wood sword and better armor

But it just offers a stone sword.
You are offering a stone sword PLUS armour.

As some people above said, the kit would be way too OP and unbalanced. I do understand why you would like to see this kit, to protect yourself from people rushing your island. Though giving you both armor and sword in a kit would most likely be abused and it would be a game changing kit.

The meta for Skywars would probably look different, at least when it comes to solo and the people rushing would most likely pick this kit, open a chest for blocks and then still rush anyway. So it wouldn’t be fun for people who actually wants to loot their chests and then fight.


This would also make some of the already existing kits less popular as there are kits that gives you armor and weapons.
