New Gamemode!! OMG!! lol clickbait exuse me: PvP GameMode to 1.8.9

Dare sweet staff, i noticed cubecraft fully did go to 1.9+, what i dont like are that the boring games are on 1.8.9, people as me tryhards from 1.8.9 kind a hate it, so what i should like is upgrading the pvp gamemode: Duels, what should be good 2 go for 1.8.9, i know we can play 1.8 pvp at 1.9, but it sucks, we cant use our mods, texture packs etc.
PLEASE MAKE IT 1.8.9

I would also like to see FFA in the 1.8 Network. Both Classic Duels and FFA don't give you that 1.8 feeling and there are many flaws with Cube's "classic" mode. I definitely support this idea. +1

I prefer 1.9+ and i never play 1.8 tbh but i think that people should have the
alternative to play both.

No, CubeCraft has to change.
The server can't stay on 1.8, because there are newer versions.
Maybe you have to change to 1.12 xD ;)

No what I am saying is that on cubecraft there are very few players who play 1.8
This is the cubecraft forums i thought people would know I am talking about cubecraft but nope.

I am saying that many people keep saying “how much better 1.9 is than 1.8” and “how 1.8 is for pros and 1.9 is for noobs” and how thats an annoying rant and to have that as a rant still it will almost be impossible almost to make a thread like this come true :/

Why do we need to add such a stale and old gamemode to 1.8.9, I would say either PVP or UHC would be better additions, please remind me how many people play 1.8 CubeCraft? About 10% of people do. That's a huge chunk, yeah it's just let's just let 10% of the server leave, you are probably not going to reply, I know, replying in an argument actually take time and effort and don't give very many messages.

That's why I think Hypixel is an older Server.
But, I also think Hypixel is a great server, but not as great as CubeCraft, because of the 1.8 PvP.

1.8 pvp is what it made good, my point of this thread is getting duels to 1.8 not saying whos better.

Nah, I don't like your idea.
But, there is a solution... Make a menu in settings where you can change your settings about duels!
You can select 1.8 or 1.9 PvP! (I think this is a good idea)

But the 1.9 client pvp on 1.8 pvp is messed up. No blockhit, no mods, i want to classic back..

Not every mod that's on 1.9 is on 1.8, which is a very strong argument, but 1.9 does have something to cancel out the removal of sword blocking making it worse - shields, which can block arrows.
