This suggestion is primarily addressed to the staff ; please eleborate further on what mini modding actually is :

Telling people how to act when they have not done anything wrong

Quoting rules on multiple occasions , in situations where they arent required etc.
Please make it applicable on forums as well.

Thread isnt long because almost ALL issues were dealt with after the version 1 of mini modding . GG

tbh there's a very large gray zone . Im not against asking other people to be nice or inforimg rules . Just want the rules to be a bit more specific.

Its starting to get annoying again

From what I understand, mini-modding is primarily having non-staff members saying that they'll do things which only staff members can do.
The rules are not too clear on what it means, so they should definitely specify some more.

One thing I have noticed is that people often associate mini-modding with people trying to inform others of a rule, when they don't know the rule themselves. I wouldn't consider this mini-modding myself as they're just trying to inform others of rules despite them not even knowing it themselves.

You're not really acting like a staff member in your suggestions so that's probably why it's not considered or becoming considered mini-modding.
Saying that you're going to do things that only staff members can do like banning or muting people is considered mini-modding and not allowed.

I understand that this can be annoying but this player probably just wants to ''help'' or try to make sure that everybody follows the rules (even when they don't fully understand the rules themselves sometimes) correctly, a person doing this is not trying to mini-mod and isn't doing it on purpose while a player who's saying that he's a staff member is.
Someone like this isn't trying to trick people to think that he or she is a staff member so I think this shouldn't be against the rules in my opinion.
I do agree that these mini-mod rules could be a little bit more specific though since they're indeed kinda vague.

The examples you just gave are not considered mini-modding.
Mini-modding is acting like you're a staff member when you're not.
So you're saying that quoting the rules multiple times when it's clearly not needed while the person who posted that also clearly hasn't read the thread properly and is adding nothing of value to the conversation all because that person is a helper wannabe should be allowed?

I fully read the thread and I had no clue what you were talking about.
I took a closer look at the thread and I noticed that I might have miss translated the thread...
I guess my English sucks to much....

Mini-modding is acting as if you were a staff member and enforcing the rules upon another player. For example, "I'm going to ban you" is mini-modding. Also, using staff quotes such as "Thread Locked" even though you aren't able to lock threads is considered mini-modding. Using warning messages that staff have given and just copying and pasting them would also be considered mini-modding.

What isn't considered as mini-modding is informing someone that they are breaking the rules, for example "Necroposting is not allowed. Please take a look at this (insert forum rules) for more information". However, when informing someone of the rules, you shouldn't enforce it in a way that makes you seem as if you are a staff member.

tldr: Use common sence and don't try to pretend as if you are something which you aren't

Any questions?
Or is my explanation above satisfactory enough for this thread to have it's concern covered?

I have to disagree, I doubt anyone who gives a player the link to the reports/rules page is doing it just for the sake of helping them. Everyone who does this acts extremely professional and much more mature in that post than what you would normally see from them. I bet you won't see any of these players give report/rules links in game. You know why? Because there aren't any mods or sr mods around to see how professional they act.

Could you copy paste that into the official rules please?
