Hey everyone!
After being on the forums for well over a year and officially hitting 3 months as a moderator, I figured it's finally time for an introduction! I've been meaning to write one for a while, and this milestone felt like the perfect excuse.
Real life
I'm a high school student from the UAE! Outside of gaming, I have a huge passion for baking and cooking, and for me, it's not just about flavour. Presentation, aesthetic, the vibes... it all matters. I love making food that looks as good as it tastes.
I also enjoy setting up event arrangements for family gatherings (which we have lots of) and school from setup to the mood. I'm a pretty observant person overall, especially when it comes to tone and detail. Small details/changes are not so small to me, I'll pick them up instantly.
Academically, I'm drawn to sciency topics like chemistry and biology, especially anything lab-related. I'm also really into language, especially how words are used and layered. I can get super picky about how I phrase things because wording matters. Recently, I've been diving into archaic English, and it's so wild and fascinating.
And of course, music. I love dissecting lyrics, metaphors, and hidden meanings in the songs I listen to on repeat - analysis is kind of my thing. (Love you billie)
I figured it'd be nice to ask my friends to describe me in the three words so I can share em with you, here they are:
Silly, assertive, and sarcastic
Minecraft Journey
My journey with Minecraft began back in 2013 when my older brother introduced me to it after playing with his school friends. I spent most my early years in Minecraft in single player worlds (didn't know how to join multiplayer
) building weird things and playing survival. Some of my most nostalgic memories are from around 2016, playing Minecraft with my brother and his friends on our old xbox, especially those old tutorial maps with the OG music in the background. It's something I truly miss and still cherish.
Cubecraft
I discovered CubeCraft when it launched on Bedrock, and I've been around since. I did take a few very long breaks here and there, but I've always found myself coming back. The first game I played was Eggwars, and I loved how it felt like Bedwars (which I used to watch a lot of on YouTube). I still play it to this day.
Back in 2021, I was super active on the server, I remember seeing moderators and admins in-game, and I always looked up to them.I admired their presence, how they helped, and represented the server. Fast forward to late 2024, I started noticing how much the server needed and could benefit from more Arabic speaking staff given the size of the Arab community on CubeCraft. I was hesitant to apply - fear of rejection and it's wonders - but an amazing @Eli gave me the final push, and I'm endlessly grateful for that. Love you Eli<3!
Now that I've been on the CubeCraft team for 4 months, I can certainly say my favourite part is helping people, answering questions, and addressing concerns. It's fulfilling in a way I didn't expect.
Drop any questions you'd like to know below!
Thanks for reading! I'm really glad to be part of this amazing community. Both as a player and a member of the staff team.
Wishing you a wonderful day ahead, and I cant wait to keep being part of a community that means so much to me!
