Just a question

This may be a noob question, but does assassins periodically reset? I spent like 2 hours yesterday trying to get iron armor and a sword, which I did, but after logging on a few hours later I noticed all my stuff was gone. Considering this happened to my friend also I'm going to assume assassins reset. But how often does it reset? Thanks

You loose your items when you log out, like kit-pvp. :)
