IS 1.8 PVP IN CUBECRAFT CORRECT?!

Dear Cubecraft Team,
Im TwinBros_HD. I just created a kit IN PVP MINIGAME (Custom Kit) and I added fishing rods to it, and set it to 1.8 mode.
Later when I was playing with my Girlfriend the fishing rods didnt work, even if it says 1.8 pvp. So i suggest that, you EITHER add a command that allows fishing rods to Knockback OR you can make the PVP MINIGAME supporting the 1.8 version!
I really do hope that this small problem gets fixed so all 1.8 PVP lovers (INCLUDING ME) can play Happily!

I think fishing rods have the same effect as other enchant mechanics, if you were to apply fire aspect to a bow (which you can in at least the console edition) shooting someone would not set them alight however if you were to smack them with that bow itll set them on fire, i think you have to hit the player not cast the rod

Ive tested it, I think thats how it worked but they are going to fix it :)

I think what he means is that rod pvp was removed during 1.9 because the rod doesnt deal damage anymore. I am a 1.8 hater but ok. I see why you want rod pvp.
