This is a website suggestion. Sometimes when I have nothing better to do, I go to https://www.cubecraft.net/find-new/posts to see new forum posts. It is a bit annoying when the same threads keep showing up, after I have already decided that I don't care about that topic and don't want to read any more replies.
I think that next to the Watch/Unwatch thread button on each thread, there should be an Ignore Thread button, that will prevent this thread from showing up in the new post list and on the forum section.
Next to the list of watched threads, there should be a list of ignored threads that you can use if you accidentially ignored a thread or want to look back on a previously ignored thread.
When googling, I found multiple xenforo add-ons that seems to do this, or I imagine it would be possible to creaqte a custom add-on for this. This is just a random one: https://xenforo.com/community/resources/th-ignore-more.4828/, maybe not exactly what I described but close enough.
