how should i improve my xp and money farms

i am currently on the birch forest island and i created 2 farms last week
they are both zombie farms for separate purposes
the first one is an xp farm that gets zombies low via fall damage so i can kill them
the second one is a money farm that kills zombies via fall damage and uses hoppers to put the rotten flesh in a chest for me to sell
how do i improve them

I think you can’t make them better or just with more spawners or upgrade the spawners for the xp farm to get more xp
