How large are the maps in eggwars and skywars

Well there are no specific sizes it kind of varys, some maps are bigger for the larger amount of people (duo quartet) some have bigger void areas some have less, this is a very unspecific question but I tried answering as best as I could.

If you spectate the maps, you can probably make a guess. I don't know exactly how large are they but not all maps are identical. Some are larger and big, others smaller,...

If you want an exact answer, use f3 to see your coords and just note them down at both corners of the map. Calculate the difference and you will have a good estimation. If you want to make your own map, don't worry too much about the size. As long as the islands aren't MASSIVE or extremely small it's fine, you can also always change the distance between islands with world edit if you later wanted to.

It depends on the amount of players per team the map is made for.

For a Team EggWars map you should keep the distances from the starter islands to the middle / other islands about 30-40 blocks (if I remember correctly this is regular for an eggwars map).
For a (Team) Skywars map it really depends on what kind of map you want to make. If you want to make a rush map you could keep really small distances between islands but if you want to make a bit less of a rush map you could keep the distances between islands a bit larger.
Also make sure everything you build is in the right scale, then it's fine. Just be creative!
