I am very curious as to how fast a player can hit in an eggwars game.
When I look up, a player can only get damage once every half a second, see information from the minecraft wiki:
As far as I understand you can not get hit faster than this. At most 2 hits per second.
My question to you all is: Have you experienced or know that it can be faster or not. What are your experiences and your understanding of this?
The reason I ask this is because I got hit 3 times within half (0.50, or at most 0.60) a second. The video:
And a 20 times slowed down variant:
I did some maths:
In the slowed down video there are 62 frames. There are 41 video seconds. This is 41/20 = 2.0 actual seconds.
Hit 1 in frame 20, hit 2 in frame 26 and hit 3 in frame 35. So 3 hits in 20 until 35 inclusive = 16 frames.
Immunity is half a second, or 10 video seconds in this slowed down video. I get that there should be 15.5 (read at least 15) frames between hits.
If someone can point out that my math might be wrong, I would appreciate that too! I think the math is right, but can someone agree or point to a mistake?
I would like to get a better idea of what happened here.

When you get damaged, you turn red for half a second and only after this immunity cooldown you can receive another hit. After sustaining damage from any source, a mob/player turns red for half a second. During this period, most other incoming damage is not counted against the player/mob's total health.Damage
Damage represents injury from attacks or natural causes. Players and mobs have a supply of health points, which are reduced when they are injured. Each health point is "half a heart," shown as 1. Players have 20 × 10 health points, but that can vary with some status effects. Mobs have varying...minecraft.gamepedia.com
