How does the skywars point system work (bedrock)

hey so I've noticed that you get different amounts of coins every kill. i relay like the system and wondering how it works.

I think it's like ranked.

For example,
If you kill 2nd place, you get more coins than killing 10th place. Hopefully that makes sense.

If this relates to the points you see when doing /points, they probably work like Java, but it doesn't really matter since points don't do anything as of now.
