How do I get my rank on the forums?

Hi,

Yesterday I saw some people with their iron/lapis/gold/diamond/emerald/obsidian rank on the forum. In-game I've got Diamond rank so I would like to get it on the forums too. I tried some stuff in-game like /register but it didn't work. Could someone help me out?
