This has been suggested a couple times, but I don't think they will add it. Your best bet to play with your friend is to plays squads or duels.

This is certainly one of the most requested features for this server.

Point is, unfortunately, that the playerbase for lucky islands is too small. By adding a doubles mode, you will basically split the playerbase from squads in half. That results in having less players in both modes.

Yeah I do wish duos was a thing but sadly it hadn’t been added. Yet….
