what will be really easy are health tags because then you know when to go into combat or not but there are lots of other reasons that i cant think of now but will be easy

You are allowed to use the Damage Indicator mod though! It works the same like your idea, if you look at a player you can see how many hearts he has. Here you have the link to the full list of allowed mods, incase you want to use other mods too ;)
