Have you ever wanted to spectate a user, but the spectator taskbar confused you a bit? Maybe you did not understand it or found it a bit inconvenient? Well here is a guide just for you then!

So to start off, you die in a game and your friend is still alive or you just want to watch the rest of the game, but flying around seems a bit tedious. Well the best solution to make it easier to spectate people and choose who you want to spectate is by pressing a number, any number will do, which will open the menu for the spectator options as if it was your inventory. It hides again within a few seconds, gradually fading, if you do not press a number or the number you are wanting. So let's go over the taskbar, as I like to call it.

This is the taskbar you see when you press any number on your keyboard (0-9). As you can see it has three choices you can pick and a number that correlates to that choice:
For the first choice, number 1, if you choose it you will be able to select any player you desire to spectate.
For the second choice, number 2, if you choose it you will be able to open a new taskbar which shows the various teams (by color) that are on that map/alive when you are spectating.
For the third choice, number 8, if you choose it you will be able to go onto the next page of players or teams (when there is another page to look at). It will be a light grey almost and not be faded when there are more pages to move onto.
For the fourth choice, number 9, if you choose it you will be able to close the taskbar instantly instead of letting it fade away.
Also on the top is how to activate the choice, by pressing the number key to highlight it and then pressing it again to select it.

Here is what you would see if you selected number 1 on the first task bar. Now, what is not represented in this screenshot is the fact that it will usually have the skins of the users as their face and when you highlight a specific number it will give you the name of the user. This way you can cycle through the faces to find the exact person you are looking for whether by name or skin.

Now as you can see above this taskbar, you can select a team to teleport to. This would be based off the color of the team (as the head is highlighted faintly by the corresponding color. It will also show up the team name when you highlight the specific team you want to teleport to, so that if you can not see the color illuminating the head in the background you will still be able to cycle through them to find it by name. This is also corresponded with a number that you would then do the same process as you did to get to this taskbar (pressing the number key to highlight your selection, then pressing it again to choose that team) in order to open up another taskbar that simply shows the player on the specific team, so that you may still choose a specific player to spectate.

You can also use your mouse to scroll through this taskbar. Simply by using the scroll wheel to scroll through the selections, highlight which you want and click with the middle button to choose your selection. It functions the same as with the number pad to select something, just is more convenient by being through the mouse.
