Ok ok. Everyone just shut up. Lets just agree that both pros and noobs play both versions. They require different skillsets, 1.8 requires you to be able to click fast so you can hurt the opponent as soon as the invulnerability ends and due to the higher pace (which I prefer it bc of but play 1.9 bc 1.8 Cube has no games) strafing is harder. 1.9 requires timed attacks, which take skill to get the timing right.
Ofc there are players who don't know which skillset is for which version and do 1.8 on 1.9 or vice versa, and those who don't know cooldown was ever added and those who don't know its only been there since 1.9. Just end the arguments, 1.9 has been out (full release) for almose *drumroll* 20 MONTHS!

Because most of them genuinely are, or some just seem that way because they're kids. One example:

Especially my favourites like freebuild, arcade, Minerware, archer assault, parkour, and Tower defence

All games that aren't PvP oriented
With Minerware as the exception, minimal PvP games this would have an effect on, only would apply to the following microgames: loot chests kill all, kill everyone, break the other team's egg, kill zombies get 10 nuggets, get the most kills, and for hard mode only: cactus slap

So in normal mode you only have 5 actual microgames that 1.8 would effect still not very necessary

PvP already has 1.8 settings so...
Lucky islands requires texture pack
Ender is a seasonal game
And finally eggwars and skywars are already in 1.8
Leaving us with the grand total of: 2 games
SG and UHC which I would agree should be

Addding 1.8 to every game

Cubecraft will be a better place if all games are available in 1.8.x there are a lot of players prefer the PvP of this version and have the complete cubecraft just in 1.9 - 1.12 its not a good idea, i think if this change cubecraft will duplicate the people playing im giving this suggestion to me cubecraft a better place, how many are agree with me, tell me what you think...

TBH, I don't think cubecraft can have 2 versions, its 1, so they chose 1.9. You have to deal with it :cool:

Could we just not comment on what other people think of 1.8 & 1.9+?
It'd be great if we could just keep it at "I prefer version A over version B" instead of "version b sucks and everyone who likes it blahblahblah". Everyone's entitled to their own opinion.

Butterfly is cheating, but jitter is just part of the 1.8 skillset, just like timing is part of the 1.9 skillset.
