why we can't say "gay" on the forums

'Gay' is allowed on the network as long as you don't use it offensively. Just saying 'gay' or having 'gay' in your name is allowed, but saying 'you're gay' for instance is not allowed.

It's not allowed If it's used in an offended way basically, because this word could be meaning ranging from derision (e.g., equivalent to rubbish or stupid) to a light-hearted mockery or ridicule (e.g., equivalent to weak, unmanly, or lame) and of course all types of harassment isn't allowed on the network.
