I want a 1080 as the new games that is coming out will be much better quality and also a minecraft update would be better quality with :P So I did prefer buying a 1080, then 970-

I would tell you to pay less money. If you haven't noticed, the quality and cost of technology is going up. Here's a rough chart created by me in Paint.

I would tell you just to upgrade your current outdated parts (I have no knowledge whatsoever), which may cost £1500-£2000, depending on what you're going to replace your parts with, then in a couple of years time, you can get a beefier, better computer, instead of having to replace it every 3 years or so.
