I don't see this necessary, you only take 2-3 seconds typing /fly and well, I don't think you Emerald+ guys do /fly every time to go to a Game Sign that's just a few blocks way...
Oh well, it's not necessary but would save 3 seconds you lose so +1

I think, they should change it to Auto fly for Emerald+. So basically you spawn above players in lobbies and instead of doing /fly how about just double tapping space and shift to get down? Just like the normal minecraft.

This is a good idea! I'm obsidian and when I go into the lobby, I keep double tapping space, until I realise fly is turned off. This would be very useful and doesn't really have any cons (that I can think of) +1 from me
