Fishing Time

Hey guys,

I've been thinking of a new item in eggwars, but i couldn't think of any untill recently.
The item that i'm currently mentioning is of course the fishing rod.

Why the fishing rod?
The fishing rod can be a life saver if you know how to use it properly, and it can be pretty fun to hook a lot of players.

Where would the fishing rod be in the eggwars and what would it cost?
The fishing rod would be in the misc. section, because it isn't related to any other item in the game.

It would cost somewhere between 10 to 20 diamonds (normal mode only) since people can use it to camp...
If you have a better price feel free to tell.

In what version is it going to be?
Let's make this a 1.8 exclusive item.

I am a badlion player

I'm a sort of Badlion player. I don't play it much but if I need to practise some kits then I'm goingto Badlion. [SG Silver II almost Silver I]

Back on topic: I agree with this idea. You can get some insane combos with it. But on the other hand, people would use to camp with it. They are going to buy a lot of rods and if you are running on their bridge they will rod spam you. The same if you run away, but in my opinion is that more a strat.

Even then it still be easy, its not hard to go to the gold generator and get 15-20 gold and on maps like pizza or aztec where gold gens are lvl 3-4 or multiple in one spot that can be a pretty short time indeed, im thinking more of a stack of gold

It would be awesome for in 1.8 Eggwars but it doesn't sound that good for 1.9Eggwars

ye know. rodpvp was disabled in 1.9 Rods dont do damage or knockback anymore.

I agree with him, this item will be to overpowerd, this can punch a player to void or hook the player to void. And even if this is added, they should add so that you can buy with emerald instead of gold, since it will be too op.
